This was our first official ride hosted by us. Summer night temps were feeling amazing, a few of us were already doing some night canyon runs. With the full moon appearing once a month, we thought it would be cool to host this ride before the summer ends.
We released a flyer and waited to hear responses. The day of the event the turnout was more than we expected, we were so stoked. With a group this big it was a little hassle to control, but the crew eventually got it down and we made it to Newcomb's Ranch. Best night of our lives, everyone was chatting, having some laughs, and sharing stories. As the moon settled higher, we were all pleased with the crazy shenanigans we signed up for. Thank you all who attended, we will most likely plan another one again next summer.
Dedicated this last section to a fellow rider who attended this event and passed away a few months after in an accident. He was a very passionate rider, friendliest guy, and excellent rider. We will never forget our first time meeting him, at the Shell gas station at the bottom of the Crest. We helped dial in his suspension that day. Rest in Peace, Joey Loulakis.
