Crest Clean Up Day

Crest Clean Up Day

As Street & Canyon, we prioritize creating a strong community. Not only with our riders, but with places we ride our motorcycles to. One of them being the iconic Shell Gas Station at the bottom of Angeles Crest Highway. This is the gas station where all rides are created, the last point to get gas and the greatest street to park your bikes. This specific location is unique because of how the side street became a sanctuary for this mountain.

The side street is actually a private road owned by Bill, he also owns the Shell gas station and several others. We had asked Bill where did the chairs originate from and we found out that they were donated by fellow peers who wanted to create a hangout spot for everyone to enjoy. We were pleased to hear that and knew there was so much more potential to what was growing here.

We contacted Bill and offered a clean-up day where we share a flyer, gather as many riders/drivers as possible, and pick up all the trash left behind. We saw this as a way to give back to Bill and the community who uses this space to come together.

As you may know it, people have been meeting at the same exact gas station for years, it's very important we pay our respects for all the different people who traveled and stopped here.
